SOCIETY AND EDUCATION
European Foundation Society and Education is a private and independent entity with headquarters in Madrid and Brussels. It promotes investigations and debates regarding multiple topics that form the strategic role of education as the basis of the progress and development of democratic societies.

Born out of professionals' initiative and prestigious institutions from the European field, it aims to be a forum of cooperation and a consultation tool at the service of the different social groups and people responsible for making decisions.

The Educational and Social Studies Institute, research department of Society and Education, is specialised in the development of educational reports with a legal, political, economical and sociological approach, in order to provide a service of reflection and analysis for national and international Public institutions, organisations and entities.

Society and Education is implementing the project entitled Intercultural Dialogue in Spain: a requirement for education and peace-building.

Active participation and stable representation for the Platform for Intercultural Europe, to develop the aims and proposals of 2008, European Year for Intercultural Dialogue.

The Institute has been actively involved in the debate on the university model that Europe needs

In Society and Education we are interested in
 Effectively implementing educational policies that address the causes of the serious issue of school drop-out rates: acting at early stages, involving the family and fostering the role of teacher-tutor to provide personalised guidance.
Integral consideration of the factors that make teaching the main focus of improving our education system: competent teachers who carry out their work professionally are feel backed in their mission by the rest of the education community.
Properly orientating evaluations with the medium-term goal of recovering schools as spaces for acquiring knowledge, strengthening attitudes of effort, work and personal responsibility among students.
