Education and Ecological Culture

Through this line of work, we join one of the biggest challenges of the 21st century, a culture of care and respect towards environmental conservation. We shine the spotlight on the decisive role of education in the push for a new ecological culture.

Promoting an “ecological citizenry” is protecting and preserving our “shared home,” it is turning contact with nature into a “lived” experience, it is nurturing environmental values at an early age, it is asking questions and giving answers, it is “eco-learning” and “eco-teaching,” it is transforming our “eco-perceptions” into “eco-convictions,” our “eco-knowledge” into “eco-behavior.” — the EcoCulture Team
