Objectives

Many voices currently appeal for a profound improvement in our educational system’s advance towards growth based on investment in awareness and the employability of european citizens.

In this sense, the European Commission document EUROPA 2020 establishes a new “strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.” Its 5 ambitious objectives demand of all member states an attempt to translate them to the national scale.

The studies of the institute are targeted at analyzing measures of efficiency, efficacy and functionality. Incentives are considered which allow for the constant growth of public and private investment in education and training, to learn from private and public expenditure on education in EU countries and the way it contributes to the precise objectives of european educational and training systems. Finally, this area aims to promote studies which allow for the establishment of criteria of national and European reference to better orient the assignment of public resources and achieve administrations that insure efficacy alongside equity.
